Description: For mothers, and is designed to show the effects substance abuse has on parenting.

Why This Project Was Chosen: This program is unique in who it serves.

Who This Project Impacted: Women both in jail and in regular parenting classes.

Results of Project: 128 women in jail and 95 women in regular parenting classes were provided education on substance abuse effects on their children. 36% of the families in the Parent Aide program received not only further education about substances, they also received extra support as they dealt with their own substance abuse issues.
