Description: **A substance use education, prevention, and intervention symposium. “Exploring the growing scope of substance use with featured speakers including health care professionals, local and state law enforcement, and community based organizations.”

Why This Project Was Chosen: The CCABC Board’s second year of sponsorship of a substance abuse epidemic symposium of a problem that effects everyone in some form.

Results of Project: **Event has been postponed due to Coronavirus NC State of Emergency

Last year’s Symposium I sponsorship included many outreach agencies, including representation of NCABC Commission Education Outreach “Talk it Out”.
