Rodney is the Talk it Out NC Program Coordinator and joined the Education Outreach Division of the ABC Commission with a history of spreading the word about the dangers of underage substance abuse. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shaw University and has been in long-term recovery for the past 29 years. Rodney has experience as a middle school teacher and working with at-risk youth. Internationally, he is a sought-after substance abuse prevention speaker and has worked with students, teachers, and parents in the United States and throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, including Qatar, Singapore, India, Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand, and Nairobi He is committed to reducing underage drinking in the state of North Carolina.
