1– Dare Coalition Against Substance Abuse – A nonprofit organization that focuses its effects on education and prevention of substance abuse and underage drinking.

2– SOLD OUT – School Alcohol Abstinence/Character Education Program — Mr. Gabriel goes out to the schools and talks with 6th and 9th graders about taking a pledge to be alcohol- and drug-free.

Why This Project Was Chosen:
Dare CASA – It’s a good organization that distributes information to the public about the prevention of underage drinking.

SOLD OUT – Good program that goes out to the schools and talks with the students about the prevention of underage drinking.

Although we cannot track specific results, our hope is that we are positively impacting Dare County citizens and students.
